Body Volt Meter to Measure Electric Fields2019-04-26T23:18:02+00:00

Body Volt Meter to Measure Electric Fields

Update News:  Unfortunately this product is no longer available.

This is the body volt meter that we had produced ourselves, because almost everything else on the market has serious limitations.  For example, most of the available body volt meters use the electrical grounding system for their zero volt reference, and this introduces many measurement errors and misunderstandings about the true strength of the electric field.  We recommend only using a body volt meter with a ground stake that is driven directly into the earth itself, to get the best zero volt reference.

You can use our instructions below, to make your own body voltmeter.  Or, you can use the ground stake version available at lessemf.com.  Go to the page: http://www.lessemf.com/es.html using the link, and scroll down to the Body Voltage Meter with Ground Stake (Cat. #A183-stake)…$129.90.  If you purchase this meter, you can use our YouTube video instructions and/or PDF instructions found at the bottom of this page.  (Note: This particular body volt meter with ground stake is rather awkward to use, because the ground stake is several feet long.  It is fine to have a long ground rod, but you do not really need more than about 12 inches into the ground for most situations, so feel free to cut off the extra un-needed length.  That makes use of this particular body volt meter with ground stake much simpler.)

This is probably the lowest cost electric field tester available today that (1) uses the body voltage method of detection, (2) utilizes a ground rod to obtain an accurate zero reference, and (3) is still relatively compact and easy to use.  Your body already is an “antenna”, picking up AC voltages from the ELF electric fields around you.  The Model BVM-S2 directly measures how much of this skin voltage you are receiving from electrical wiring, computers, lamp cords, power lines and other nearby sources.

Body voltage testing – also called skin voltage testing – is the most sensitive, accurate and helpful method available to detect electric fields.  This is a very important measurement, especially for sensitive individuals.  (Michael Neuert, EMF Test Engineer)

    • Accessories:  Michael’s own easy-to-understand instruction guide and safety level recommendations.

Important Feature #1 – Body Volt Testing:  Our Model BVM-S2 measures the ELF electric fields using the body volt test method – the most sensitive, accurate and helpful procedure available to detect ELF electric fields.   This is especially important and helpful for sensitive individuals.

Important Feature #2 – Ground Rod in the Earth:  For accuracy and sensitivity, the Model BVM-S2 uses a ground rod inserted into the earth.   Less accurate body voltage meters will use the electrical system ground, for instance a grounded electrical outlet in the wall, which often leads to substantial measurement errors.

In our opinion, this is probably the lowest cost electric field tester available today that (1) uses the body voltage method of detection, (2) utilizes a ground rod to obtain an accurate zero reference, and (3) is still relatively compact and easy to use.

Also sometimes called “Body Voltage Meter”, “Skin Volt Meter”, “BVM Meter”, “Body Meter”, or “Skin Voltage Meter”.   Our version, the Model BVM-S2, is designed by us and assembled at our location in California.
