    RETURN POLICY

All purchases are final.  We do not accept returns of the test meters, unless there is a manufacturing defect or problem with the functioning of the meter.  (See our “Warranty Information” page for more information about malfunctioning meters.)

If you are unsure whether you want to purchase a meter, we recommend that you start by renting it for a week.  Then if you want to keep it, you can convert your rental into a purchase, at no extra cost.  (The appropriate portion of your prepaid deposit will simply be applied to the full purchase of that rental meter.)  We provide our own one year warranty for your purchase of any rental meters.  If you do not want to keep the rental meter, you can simply return the rental meter to us within the agreed rental period, and we will refund the appropriate amount of your prepaid rental deposit.

Certified and Tested Meters:  Perhaps the most important service we provide is that we individually test each meter for proper operation before we ship it out.  Doing this, I have repeatedly been the one in this business to discover meter quality problems and irregularities, and have given feedback to the various manufacturers and distributors leading to changes and repairs.  I regularly return any meters if they do not meet my quality standards.

I have selected what I believe to be the lowest cost test meters available, with enough accuracy and reliability to trust their measurements.  Therefore, we tend to have relatively few problems with malfunctioning meters, and thus a very low return/problem rate.  Any meter manufacturers and/or models with quality and reliability issues have been discontinued and are not sold by us.

In general, I have found that the lower priced meters, especially the cheaper models that test several kinds of EMFs at once, like the TriField 100 XE and the Cornet series of meters, to be almost more trouble than they are worth – they tend to have substantial quality and measurement issues, making it difficult to trust their numbers, and thus we do not recommend or carry them.
